Every page on this site describes what BiteCloud does. This page describes who builds it, why it exists, and the standards it is built under.

Before BiteCloud, our work was connecting restaurant software from different vendors. A typical operation ran a point of sale from one company, a kitchen display from another, aggregator orders from a third, and separate systems for accounting, inventory, and the digital menu. Each one kept its own data and its own way of doing things, and none of them were designed to work with the rest.
We built and maintained the integrations between these systems. Over the years, the same problems came back with every client. Data models did not align. Records disagreed about the same order. A vendor update on one side would quietly break the connection on the other. The cost of all this landed on the operator, in reconciliation work, support tickets, and reports that could not be fully trusted.
After enough years of this, the conclusion was simple. The problem was not the integrations. It was that the software was never designed to work together, and no integration layer could fix that. A restaurant operation needs one system, built as one system from day one.
That is why BiteCloud exists.

The roadmap exists, but it will always bend to production reality.
The ecosystem within and around the platform will grow through partnerships and integrations with companies whose products hold up in production, each one evaluated on the operational value it adds and maintained with the same care as the platform itself.
That growth spans hardware devices, automation, and AI models we will be introducing. The measure for adopting any of it is the same as for everything else: it earns its place when it removes real work from someone's day.
